Holmes W. Anderson
Mr. Anderson has been a registered patent attorney for twenty-five years. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Vermont and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of New Hampshire School of Law. He is a member of the Massachusetts bar and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Prior to joining the firm Mr. Anderson served as Lead Intellectual Property Counsel for the research and development division of Nortel Networks Limited, where he was responsible for managing patent-related activities and supporting intellectual property transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. Mr. Anderson received formal training in patent practice while working for United Technologies Corporation, prior to which he worked as an engineer for a developer of equipment for automated optical inspection of printed circuit boards.

John C. Gorecki

Mr. Gorecki has been a registered patent attorney for twenty-five years. He completed his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in four years, both with honors, in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Southern California. He received his J.D. from Georgetown University in 1994. He is admitted to the bar in Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Massachusetts, and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Mr. Gorecki started his career working with large corporate clients at select law firms, including several years at both Fish & Richardson and Wolf Greenfield and Sacks. He then was employed as in-house counsel for Nortel Networks, where he focused on patent portfolio development, patent prosecution, managing outside counsel, inbound and outbound licensing, transactional work, and client counseling. Mr. Gorecki worked as a solo practitioner for five years before joining the Firm. His practice focuses on trademark work, patent preparation and prosecution, and client counseling including non-infringement/invalidity opinions, clearance searches, and advice regarding designing around issued patents. |
